Grading Rules
Our Solid Parquet Grading rules ensure a Quality finished product. Continued monitoring during the production process ensures that these standards are adhered to. Please advise if your grading standards differ from ours, we shall try our best to accomodate your request.
- “A” Grade Solid Timber
- Square Edges
- Profile as per mutually agreed drawing
- No pin-holes on face
- Pin-holes on back and tongue acceptable
- No cracks, checks, spring end or other damage
- Smooth Face, No twisting, Bending or bowing
- No shading due to partial exposure to sunlight
- Moisture content – Suited to Customers requirements
Specifications
- Moisture Content: 10 – 12% standard
- Quantity per 20 foot container: approximately 20 Cubic Meters palletised
- Packing: Can stuff container with or without pallets
- Pallets in compliance with ISPM 15
- Special Sizes: Large widths and long lengths possible
- Thickness: 12, 15, 16, 18, 20 & 22mm
- Width: 70, 80, 90, 120, 140, 160, 180mm
- Length:
- Merbau: Random Lengths starting from 600 to 2000mm in increments of 100mm
- Teak & Other Species: Random Lengths starting from 450 to 2000mm in increments of 50m
- Notes:
- Length for 90mm wide flooring upto 1200mm
- Length for 70mm wide flooring 300-1200mm in increments of 50mm
